Package tour to Murmansk 'Arctic Holidays' 4 days

THE TOUR PROGRAM

1ST DAY. ARRIVAL. WELCOME DINNER. NORTHERN LIGHTS TOUR.

1. Arrival in Murmansk. Group transfer (airport - Azimut hotel) for guests who arrive to Murmansk next flight:
• Moscow - Murmansk (S7 Airlines) 12:15 - 14:55.
• Moscow - Murmansk (Aeroflot Airlines) 15:10 - 17:45.

*If a guest arrives at a different time, transfer is not included.

2. Arctic dinner in local restaurant ‘Terrasa’ in the city center of Murmansk (close to Azimut hotel). Please, be ready to start the northern lights hunting after the restaurant (without hotel visiting).
3. Start the northern lights trip from the restaurant. Duration of the trip is 3-5 hours. When we find Aurora Borealis, a guide-photographer will ask you to move quickly to take the best photos, because the Northern Lights are regularly changing. Firstly the guide takes group photos and then individuals.
4. If you get cold, you can always warm up in a warm transport. Guests are offered tea and light snacks (cookies, chocolate, etc.).
5. Come back to your hotel in Murmansk.

2ND DAY. THE TERIBERKA VILLAGE. ARCTIC OCEAN COAST.

1. The meeting point with your guide is on the 1st floor of the Azimut Hotel.
2. Transfer to the Teriberka village for 130 km. Along the way, we will have stops in tundra (northern deserts) for taking photos and videos.
3. The first stop in Teriberka is the parking lot of abandoned wooden fishing boats that have been in this place for more than 100 years. 10-15 minutes for taking pictures of local panoramic views.
4. Lunch in the local café in Teriberka (lunch with local seafood)
5. Snowmobile sledding trip to the Arctic Ocean coast to 'Dragon Eggs' & Frozen waterfall. Sometimes it is windy, and you need to be ready for the real storm! We will have about 30 minutes for walking and taking photos & videos.
6. Finishing the program in the Teriberka village. Arrival in Murmansk by 19:00 - 20:00.
7. Northern Lights tour (if the weather conditions and solar activity are good enough for Aurora hunting). Our tour includes 2 Northern Lights tours.

3RD DAY. KHIBINY MOUNTAINS TRIP & WATERFALL.

1. The meeting point with your guide is on the 1st floor of the Azimut Hotel. Transfer to the Kirovsk town for 220 km.
2. Arrival to the heart of Khibiny mountains. Lunch in a local restaurant.
3. Snowmobile trip for 1 hour to the Khibiny Mountains. 2 persons per snowmobile. Before the trip you will be given a safety briefing and suitable equipment will be selected.
4. Lunch in local restaurant in Kirovsk.
5. Visiting a top of mountain. We will reach the top by ski elevator at the ski resort 'Big Wood'. The height of the mountain is about 850 meters. At this place we will have about 30 minutes for taking photos and enjoy the panoramic views.
6. Visiting the 'Snow Village' — winter snow building (like a cave) with ice sculptures and beautiful lights around. We will have about 30-40 minutes for this place.
7. Finishing the program and come back to Murmansk.

4TH DAY. SAMI VILLAGE, REINDEER & HUSKY SLEDDING. FINISHING THE PROGRAM.

1. The meeting point with your guide is on the 1st floor of the Azimut Hotel. Transfer to the Sami village for 140 km.
2. Arrival to the Sami village in Lovozero. You will get warm winter Sami clothes in traditional Russian wooden house.
3. Meeting with reindeer: you will feed them from your hands, take photos and listen to a story about these northern animals. Also, you will have reindeer sledging on the lake (1 circle on the lake). You can take photos and videos during the sledging.
4. The main part of the program: husky sledging! You will have this activity on the sledges. The speed of the dogs is very fast and the professional instructor will drive the sledges by himself. For every tourist, the distance of Husky sledging will be about 1000 meters.
5. After husky sledging you will have lunch in a cosy house of Husky park. You will try real northern meals: soup with salmon fish and reindeer meat with side dishes.
6. Visiting a souvenir shop in Husky park. Here you can buy different gifts and presents for your friends and family.
7. We will visit the place where the husky live. You will have some free time for playing with dogs and for taking photos.
8. Finishing the program.
9. Transfer to the airport of Murmansk.
