THE TOUR PROGRAM
1ST DAY. ARRIVAL. NORTHERN LIGHTS HUNTING.
- Arrival in Murmansk. Our driver meets you at the airport and takes you to your hotel.
- In the evening, around 9 p.m., we start the Northern Lights hunt with a guide and a photographer. The trip takes 3–5 hours: we go where the forecast and the sky are best.
- When we find the Aurora Borealis, the photographer takes group photos first and then individual ones.
- If you get cold, you can always warm up in the car. Hot tea and cookies are on board.
- Back to your hotel in Murmansk.
2ND DAY. TERIBERKA VILLAGE. ARCTIC OCEAN COAST. SECOND AURORA HUNT.
- A full-day trip to Teriberka, a village on the Barents Sea coast. Along the way, we stop in the tundra for photos and videos.
- The old ship graveyard: wooden fishing boats that have stayed on the shore for decades.
- A walk along the Arctic Ocean coast: the famous 'Dragon Eggs' beach and a waterfall among red rocks.
- Free time for lunch in a local café (not included in the price). Optional: a boat trip in Teriberka (+6 000 RUB/person).
- Back to Murmansk in the evening.
- Second Northern Lights hunt (if the weather and solar activity allow).
3RD DAY. SAMI VILLAGE.
- Transfer to a Sami village in the tundra.
- Meet the Sami, the indigenous people of the Kola Peninsula, and discover how they have lived in the Arctic for centuries: traditional dwellings, national costumes and folk games.
- Meet northern animals living in the village.
- A hot meal in the village.
- Back to your hotel in Murmansk.
- Please note: husky sledding is not part of this program.
4TH DAY. SNOWMOBILE SAFARI. ICE FLOATING IN THE KOLA BAY. DEPARTURE.
- Snowmobile safari across the tundra: from 30 minutes to 1 hour, 2 persons per snowmobile. Before the ride you get a safety briefing and equipment.
- Arctic lunch with herbal tea.
- Ice floating in the Kola Bay: in a special thermal suit you float in the icy water among the ice — safe, warm and unforgettable! About 2 hours including the briefing.
- Transfer to the airport of Murmansk. The day takes about 6 hours, so please book an evening flight or stay one more night.

The Northern Lights are a natural phenomenon, so nobody can guarantee them. Two hunts are included in the tour. If you don't see the lights on both nights, your third hunt is free!
Yes, it is safe, and you don't need to know how to swim. The thermal suit keeps you warm, dry and floating on the surface. An instructor gives you a safety briefing before you go into the water.
No, this program is about Sami culture, the Arctic Ocean and snowmobiles. If you dream of husky sledding, ask us about our Arctic Adventure tour. All outdoor activities depend on the weather and snow conditions.
A hot meal in the Sami village on day 3 and an Arctic lunch on day 4, plus hot tea and snacks during the trips. Lunch in Teriberka and other meals are paid on the spot.
The program of the last day takes about 6 hours. Please book an evening flight on day 4 or stay one more night in Murmansk.
No, the price is without accommodation. We are happy to help you choose a hotel in Murmansk — just ask your manager.
In winter the temperature in Murmansk can drop to -25 °C, and it is windy on the Arctic Ocean coast. Please take a full set of winter clothes: thermal underwear, a fleece jacket, warm pants, a warm jacket, warm shoes, warm socks, a hat, a scarf and gloves.
We recommend taking a power bank for your phone, a thermos or thermal mug, a small backpack for personal belongings, and hand and foot warmers. Don't forget your passport and medical insurance.
