- HOW TO BOOK THE TOUR? At the time of booking your tour, you are required to make a 20% deposit. Full payment for the tour is due 14 calendar days before the start of the tour. Payment is made by bank card to our company account. Your reservation manager will send you all instructions individually.
- WHAT ABOUT TICKETS AND TRANSFER INFORMATION? Arrival. Group transfer from the airport to Murmansk is included for guests who arrive to Murmansk using next flight: Purchase tickets from Murmansk on the last (4th) day of the tour with departure after 17:00 in order to comfortably reach the airport. Group transfer to the airport is included.
- WHAT MEALS ARE INCLUDED IN THE TOUR PRICE? Breakfast at the hotel, lunches during day trips are included. Dinners in Murmansk after trips are not included.
- WILL THERE BE KING CRAB ON OUR TOUR? King crab is included in one lunch or dinner.

- WHERE IS THE ACCOMMODATION ? 3 nights in Azimut hotel (Standard rooms) are included. Double / twin or Single.
- WHAT IS THE MINIMUM AGE? The minimum age of tour participants is 6 years. If your children are under 6, a private tour can be arranged for you just for your group.
- WHAT ARE THE CHANCES OF SEEING THE NORTHERN LIGHTS ? The chances of seeing the northern lights are equal from September 1 to April 10 each year. The brightness of the aurora depends on solar activity, which can be predicted 28 calendar days in advance. To increase your chances of seeing the Aurora, the Arctic Vacation tour includes 2 Northern Lights trips. This increases the chances to 98%, but it is never 100%, because the northern lights are a natural phenomenon and no one can guarantee their appearance. If you don't see the Northern Lights with your own eyes, there are no discounts. You can book a hunting trip for the 3rd time, provided that we have free guides and transport.
- WHAT ARE THE CHANCES OF SEEING WHALES ? We cannot guarantee the appearance of whales in the open sea, because... this is nature. The behavior of whales in the Barents Sea has not been fully studied and it is almost impossible to predict their appearance. Important! The boat trip may be canceled due to weather conditions. The Barents Sea is part of the Arctic Ocean and there are often strong winds and high waves. The program will be replaced by a walking one to the waterfall and the “dragon eggs” location.
- HOW TO DRESS FOR A TOUR? The air temperature in Murmansk in September can drop to -10 C degrees below zero, so we recommend taking with you a full set of winter clothes: thermal underwear, a fleece jacket with a collar, warm pants, a warm jacket, warm shoes, warm socks, hat, scarf, gloves.
- WHAT TO TAKE WITH YOU TO MURMANSK? We recommend taking with you a portable charger for phones, a personal thermos or thermal mug, a backpack for personal belongings during the tour, self-heating bags for hands and feet (these can be purchased at Sportmaster). Also, don’t forget to take your compulsory medical insurance policy, passport, and chargers for your devices with you.

THE TOUR PROGRAM
1ST DAY. ARRIVAL. WELCOME DINNER. NORTHERN LIGHTS TOUR.
1. Arrival in Murmansk. Group transfer (airport - Azimut hotel) for guests who arrive to Murmansk next flight:
Moscow - Murmansk (S7 Airlines) 12:15 - 14:55.
Moscow - Murmansk (Aeroflot Airlines) 15:10 - 17:45.
*If a guest arrives at a different time, transfer is not included.
2. Arctic dinner in local restaurant ‘Terrasa’ in the city center of Murmansk (close to Azimut hotel). Please, be ready to start the northern lights hunting after the restaurant (without hotel visiting).
3. Start the northern lights trip from the restaurant. Duration of the trip is 3-5 hours. When we find Aurora Borealis, a guide-photographer will ask you to move quickly to take the best photos, because the Northern Lights are regularly changing. Firstly the guide takes group photos and then individuals.
5. If you get cold, you can always warm up in a warm transport. Guests are offered tea and light snacks (cookies, chocolate, etc.).
6. Come back to your hotel in Murmansk.
2ND DAY. THE TERIBERKA VILLAGE. ARCTIC OCEAN COAST.
1. The meeting point with your guide is on the 1st floor of the Azimut Hotel.
2. Transfer to the Teriberka village for 130 km. Along the way, we will have stops in tundra (northern deserts) for taking photos and videos.
3. The first stop in Teriberka is the parking lot of abandoned wooden fishing boats that have been in this place for more than 100 years. 10-15 minutes for taking pictures of local panoramic views.
4. Lunch in the local café in Teriberka (lunch with local seafood).
5. Sea boat trip for 2 hours. Important information: the sea boat trip could be canceled because of the strong wind, high waves or other natural conditions. During the boat trip we will have the opportunity to see whales, seals and dolphins. We do not guarantee that you will see sea animals.
6. After the sea boat trip we visited the following locations: waterfall, dragon eggs, sand beach.
7. Finishing the program in the Teriberka village. Arrival in Murmansk by 19:00 - 20:00.
8. Northern Lights tour (if the weather conditions and solar activity are good enough for Aurora hunting). Our tour includes 2 Northern Lights tours .
3RD DAY. KHIBINY MOUNTAINS TRIP & WATERFALL.
1. The meeting point with your guide is on the 1st floor of the Azimut Hotel. Transfer to the Kirovsk town for 220 km.
2. Arrival to the heart of Khibiny mountains. Lunch in a local restaurant.
3. Panoramic excursion on an all-terrain vehicle without heavy physical activity OR, in case of unfavorable weather conditions, a visit to the Botanical Garden. We will visit the waterfall of the Khibiny mountains with panoramic views of golden autumn mountains. Duration of this trip is about 3 hours. Snacks (sandwiches) are included.
4. Finishing the program in the Khibiny mountains. Arrival in Murmansk by 19:00 - 20:00.
4TH DAY. CITY TOUR WITH PANORAMIC PLACES. FINISHING THE PROGRAM.
You can leave your bags in the Azimut hotel. We will take your luggage after lunch before transfer to the airport.
1. We start our sightseeing tour of Murmansk. The duration of the tour with lunch is about 4 hours.
2. Visiting the highest monument in the Murmansk region called ‘Alyosha’. This monument was built in honor of the defenders of Murmansk during the Second World War.
3. Visiting the seaport with icebreaker ‘Lenin’. Excursion to the icebreaker (if the excursions are providing).
4. Visiting the opposite side of Kola bay. This place was built in honor of Anti-aircraft forces.
5. Lunch in the local restaurant in Murmansk.
6. A group transfer to the airport. Start at 14:00 (2 pm) from Murmansk. Arrival to the airport by 15:00 (3 pm).
